Nursing work where you are the clinician in the room
We hire registered nurses and licensed practical nurses for private duty nursing with children, adults and seniors across our Minnesota service area.
Why home nursing
What the work is actually like
Home nursing suits nurses who are confident working independently and who would rather know one person's care deeply than manage a busy assignment.
One patient, one shift
Your attention is not split across a corridor. You learn one person's baseline properly and you notice when it changes.
Pediatric and adult work
Roles across pediatric, adult and senior care, so you can work with the population you are strongest with.
Schedules that fit a life
Full-time, part-time and as-needed shifts, including evenings, overnights and weekends.
Orientation before solo shifts
You are oriented to each case — the equipment, the routine, the family — before you work it alone.

Questions
Nursing career questions
What licenses do you hire?
We hire registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) who hold a current, unencumbered Minnesota license, or a multistate license that is valid for practice in Minnesota.
Specific requirements for each role — experience, skills and schedule — are listed on the individual job posting.
Do you hire nurses who are new to home care?
Home care is a different environment from a hospital floor: you are the only clinician in the room, and your assessment skills carry more weight.
Whether a particular role suits a nurse new to home care depends on the role and the care involved. Each posting states what it requires. If you are interested but unsure, apply and tell us where you are coming from.
At Home Healthcare LLC is an equal opportunity employer. We consider all qualified applicants without regard to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, disability, public assistance status, age, familial status, local human rights commission activity, or veteran status, consistent with the Minnesota Human Rights Act and applicable federal law.
Employment is subject to license verification, a background study as required for Minnesota home care providers, and the agency's own onboarding requirements.
Posting a role is not an offer of employment, and hours available to any nurse depend on client authorizations and scheduling.
